Root Tabs
Teraa Root Tabs: Targeted Substrate Nutrition for Lush Aquatic Growth
Revitalize your “underwater garden” with Teraa Root Tabs, a professional-grade, sustained-release fertilizer designed to deliver essential nutrients directly where they are needed most: the root zone. Engineered for both hobbyists and expert aquascapers, these nutrient-rich capsules ensure your heavy-rooting plants receive a steady supply of minerals for vibrant color and robust structural development.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Sustained-Release Technology: Each tab is formulated to provide a consistent, slow-release of nutrients over a period of 1–2 months, significantly reducing maintenance while preventing the nutrient spikes that can lead to algae.
-
Comprehensive Mineral Matrix: Contains a balanced blend of Nitrogen (N) and Phosphorus (P) for growth, alongside high-potency Iron (Fe) and Manganese (Mn) to prevent yellowing and enhance leaf vibrancy.
-
Targeted Root Development: Specifically designed for large solitary plants and species with sturdy root systems (such as Amazon Swords, Cryptocoryne, and Crinum), ensuring they establish a deep, healthy anchor in the substrate.
-
High Bioavailability: The nutrients are provided in a form that is immediately accessible to plant tissues, ensuring maximum uptake efficiency with zero harmful residues left in the water column.
-
Ecosystem Safe: Thoroughly tested to be 100% safe for fish, ornamental shrimp, and invertebrates. Teraa Root Tabs maintain the delicate biological balance of your aquarium while your plants flourish.
-
Universal Substrate Compatibility: Works effectively in all types of aquarium substrates, from inert sand and gravel to active soils, providing a critical nutrient boost to “tired” or aging setups.
Usage & Application Instructions
To achieve the best results in your aquascape:
-
Placement: Using tweezers or your fingers, push the capsules deep into the substrate (approx. 2–3 inches) close to the roots of the plants.
-
Spacing: For dense groups of plants, space tabs roughly 4–6 inches apart. For large solitary plants, place one tab directly beneath the root cluster.
-
Replenishment: Replace the tabs every 8 weeks to maintain a constant supply of vital micro and macro-nutrients.
